Hospice Care

Hospice of American Health Care Professionals provides medical services, emotional support, and spiritual resources for people who are terminally ill and for their family members. Our goal is to keep the patient comfortable at home, free of pain and worry. We can help with bathing, dressing, and feeding; assist with filing advance directive forms; explain palliative treatments; arrange for medical supplies and equipment; and provide respite care to relieve caregivers a few hours a week.

In the comfort of familiar surroundings your family members and loved ones will provide care most of the time. Our hospice representative will visit for an hour or so one or more times a week and work with your caregivers to provide the best possible care for you.

Hospice services are covered by Medicare and by many private insurance companies. Check with your employer or your health insurance plan for coverage information.
